This coin was issued to commemorate the 1,000th anniversary of the beautiful city of Luxembourg. This large, silver-dollar-size coin was issued in 1963 and was from a small group that features a special patina applied by the Mint. With a mintage of just 8,500 coins, we were fortunate to find and secure a small hoard of these unique coins.
