In 1864, the Confederacy’s dream of victory in the Civil War was nearly at an end when this $10 note was issued. Issued by the State of Alabama, this Obsolete note was actually redeemable for Confederate Treasury Notes. However, because it was issued at the end of the war, it was very short lived.
