When Britain’s 99-year lease for Hong Kong expired in 1997, it was forced to transfer sovereignty of the city and surrounding lands to China. Today, all that’s left to remind us of Britain’s rule of the Asian port are pages in the history books and mementos like these unique fractional currency notes that were stored away in our vault for over 10 years! Featuring a 1-cent denomination, this pack of 20 Crisp Uncirculated notes have been locked away in original bundles since before the “handover.” Comes in 20-note sleeves.
